Honor 6X, the latest dual-camera smartphone by the Huawei company owned Honor brand, will be launched in India on 24th of January. Honor has start sending early invites for the launch of a dual-camera smartphone, without mentioning the name of the device. The Honor 6X was launched in China in the month of October, last year and its biggest highlight is its dual camera setup. Honor 6X was launched in three onboard storage variants - 3GB RAM with 32GB inbuilt onboard storage, 4GB RAM with 32GB inbuilt onboard storage, and 4GB RAM with 64GB inbuilt onboard storage, which is priced at the cost of CNY 999 which is roughly Rs. 9,900, CNY 1,299 which is roughly Rs. 12,900, and CNY 1,599 which is roughly Rs. 15,800 correspondingly - but for now there's no clarity in terms of price in India.

The Honor 6X was launched in five color variants Gold, Silver, Grey, Blue, and Rose Gold - which of these will be brought to India has still not revealed by the company officials. Honor 6X features several upgrades over the Honor 5X, sporting a 5.5-inch (1080x1920 pixels) full-High Definition IPS display with the glass protection of 2.5D which is curved with a Kirin 655 octa-core SoC, and a hybrid dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) card slot, with support for the microSD cards of up to 128GB in the second SIM card slot. The smartphone runs on the Interface of EMUI 4.1 OS which is based on the Android version of 6.0 Marshmallow, the Honor 6X sports a dual rear camera setup with one 12-megapixel sensor that supports the face detection mode and an additional 2-megapixel sensor which is paced right below it. Honor 6X features a 8-megapixel front camera for taking selfies and video calling. The smartphone also sports a fingerprint sensor which is placed on the rear panel that the company claims the smartphone can unlock in just 0.3 seconds.

The connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ A-GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Honor 6X is powered by a battery of 3340mAh battery with the support for fast charging.
