HMD Global, is the company that currently holds the rights to develop mobile gadgets under the brand - Nokia, surprised the mobile industry on Sunday as the company launched its first Nokia branded Android smartphone - Nokia 6.
The Nokia 6 smartphone, which was launched exclusively for the country China, packs with a 5.5-inch full-High Definition display which is coupled with the protection of 2.5D Gorilla Glass. The phone is powered and supported by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC paired with the Ram of 4GB and 64GB of internal onboard storage. The dual SIM smartphone has a battery of 3000mAh which is non removable. The Nokia 6 has been priced at the cost of 1,699 CNY which is roughly Rs. 16,750 and will be made available in the Country "in early 2017".
However, an entry-level Nokia smartphone, which was earlier leaked in live images as well as sketches, has now been detailed in new leaks. The specifications which was leaked about the Nokia E1 budget smartphone suggest that it will sport either with a 5.2-inch or 5.3-inch display with screen resolution of pixels 720x1280, as per a report given by the Nokia officials.
The Nokia E1 is expected to run on the Android version of 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and has been tipped to be powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor which is coupled with the Ram of 2GB and Adreno 308 GPU. On the photography department, the Nokia E1 is expected to pack with a 13-megapixel primary camera which is on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter camera for taking selfies and video calling. Even though the pricing of the phone has not been leaked as of now, it is expected to be announced by HMD Global at MWC 2017 later next month.
