Chinese handset manufacturer company Vivo has unveiled its latest second smartphone this year, the Y55s, which is priced at the cost of Rs. 12,490. The new Vivo Y55s will be available in two color option such as Crown Gold and Space Grey across the entire country The company says that the new Vivo Y55s is an just simply an upgraded version of the Vivo Y55L that has been launched last year. The new Y55s comes with a more bigger battery and RAM.

The Vivo Y55s features a 5.2-inch High Definition (720x1280 pixels) IPS display and comes with a curved glasses screen of 2.5D. It is powered and supported by a quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor which is clocked at 1.4GHz and is coupled with the RAM of 3GB. It runs the company’s Funtouch Operating system 3.0 which is based on the Android version 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The handset packs with a built onboard storage of 16GB and supports an expandable of storage via a micro SD card of up to 256GB.

On the photography department, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel primary camera which is on the rear and also comes with a 5-megapixel front camera for video calling taking selfies. The 4G-enabled Y55s is backed by a battery of 2730mAh. One of the biggest highlight features of the Vivo Y55s smartphone is its Smart Screen-Split feature which will allow users to do multi-task at the same time as well as to use two apps simultaneously.
